Winter weather survival kits

Well folks, it looks like Punxsutawney Phil’s Groundhog Day prediction might have been right. More wintry weather is on the way for many parts of the country.

But as many people struggle to stay warm, especially those without power, now is the time to make sure you’re prepared for the worst and, of course, hope for the best. There are lots of ways to stay warm without running up your heat bill too.

This is also a good opportunity (if you haven‘t already) to put together an emergency kit – not only in your home, but in your car as well. You never know when you might need it.

  • What you need for your home emergency supply list
  • Car emergency kit

Check out our previous post on how to get through the winter weather without freezing your buns off, here.

Also, visit The Beehive for even more information about being prepared in any emergency.

bravo alexis cala for this important article helping people to prepare with ease. particularly for pointing out how important a kit is for the car. at ice-qube we take emergency preparedness seriously and in addition to selling our ice-qube emergency kits, we give away free emergency planners at http://www.http://ice-qube.com/planners where you can fill in and print out to add to car or home emergency kits.

Thank you Leslie, free emergency planners are great! I agree, the more prepared folks are (for any emergency) the easier this weather will be to get through.

    http://ice-qube.com/ definitely worth a visit :)

    Thanks!
