Google, Microsoft and others are making it easier to travel and stay connected this holiday season with free wireless internet. Why free Wi-Fi? It gives you incentive to go online while helping these Web companies promote their name, search engine, or site. Talk about a win-win.
Don’t miss out on these super hot spots. Google announced it will be providing free wireless internet at 47 U.S. airports and on all Virgin American flights. All you have to do is bring your Wi-Fi enabled laptop, phone or device and enjoy free internet now through January 15. Log on at one of these airport hotspots and you’ll also have a chance to Give Back by donating to a participating non-profit. Google will even match your donation. In fact, PICCurrent happens to be run by the non-profit One Economy, which is also part of the Give Back program.
Microsoft is also offering free Wi-Fi at thousands of hotels and airports. But there’s a catch: free Internet use in exchange for one search on Microsoft’s search engine Bing. Not a bad deal. Also jumping on the free Wi-Fi wagon – EBay is providing internet on some Delta flights, while Yahoo’s giving away free wireless in New York City’s Times Square.

Great info, I will definitely put it to use! I always learn something here. Keep it coming!
Thanks Mike, I’m glad we could help!
If you’re looking for more free WiFi locations, you don’t need to go very far. It seems like everyone is jumping on the free WiFi train – next up, Amtrak will be offering free wireless access on select destinations!
